Look at our portfolio before you come in. The backgrounds, settings, and sample photos posted will give you an idea of what outfits look best. Also, if there is a certain style or type of photo you would like to try, you can tell our photographer.
Wear clothing that is flattering to your body type and fits properly. Strapless, Sleeveless or striped clothing might make you appear heavier than you actually are (solid colored, long sleeved shirts and long pants are always a safe choice). Bring various styles of outfits (formal, casual, jeans, letterman, etc.)
Bring items or props that reflect ‰ЫПYOU‰Ыќ (sports equipment, musical instruments, pets, iPod‰ЫЄs etc).
Since we want pictures of people, not clothing, make sure you apparel and prop selections do not distract attention from you.
Come by the studio before your sitting and look through our albums for ideas, poses, backgrounds, and outfits.
Bring a friend or parent to your sitting who will make you feel more comfortable and can offer another opinion.
Make sure to get a good night‰ЫЄs sleep the night before your sitting.
Remember to allow at least 45 minutes for basic sittings and 60-90 minutes for deluxe and super sittings (Proof take an additional 30 minutes to print after the sitting).
Practice doing your make-up and hair the way you want it in your pictures prior to the day of your sitting.
Apply your make-up as if you were going out for a nice evening, however, make sure your concealer and foundation make you look natural and not washed-out. It is better to let a few blemishes show than to over-do your make-up. Keep in mind that we can easily edit any imperfections.
Bring extra make-up and hair accessories for touch ups. It may also be a good idea to bring an extra shirt or outfit incase you decide against wearing one or a zipper breaks, etc.
Avoid trying to get a last minute tan or haircut before your sitting so you do not have to worry about sunburns, tan lines, or bad haircuts.
Be sure to get a good shave the morning of your sitting (unless you want a casual, unshaven look; facial hair cannot be retouched.
Bring a variety of clothing, both dressy and casual. Dress shirts should be ironed; wrinkles cannot retouched.
